Other Work Samples for:

Jerry has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the structure and features of a narrative. An interesting storyline with simple plot development has been used but the text lacks a title and a strong conclusion. The characters have been effectively introduced but additional detail on how the characters feel and respond to situations would enhance the narrative. Paragraphs have been used effectively but there is little variation in sentence structure and minimal use of descriptive language. The punctuation is adequate and most simple words have been correctly spelt. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard midway through Stage 3.

Grade C

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
