Ariel and partners have demonstrated a high level of competence in composing a dance sequence. Traditional and contemporary movements have been explored, refined and organised in a composition that demonstrates a thorough understanding of the elements of dance. The movement used during transitions is a little repetitive, and further refinement of the expressive quality and techniques is possible. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by students performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 3.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
