Description of activity
Students are divided into groups of five. During independent reading, they select texts with help, then read and discuss these factual texts and other sources of information about dinosaurs. They then use the information they have to complete the worksheets.

Students have used retrieval charts to record information from factual texts in HSIE and Science and Technology units of work.
