Other Work Samples for:

Shannon has demonstrated a very high level of competence in planning and designing a freestanding sculpture in response to an investigation of the city. The process of construction and consideration of materials has been well documented, including detailed annotations and sketches. The documentation process reinforces the ideas and actions regarding the concept of urban decay. Shannon's annotations have referenced the ideas (conceptual artmaking practice) and demonstrate a thorough understanding of sculpture techniques and conventions. The ideas have been refined, and experimentation with materials of fabrication has been documented in an ongoing process of evaluation and reflection. The solutions are open-ended, allowing for further development. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.
