Grade	The Artwork:
A	demonstrates a perceptive observation of landscape and the built environment that has informed the choice of subject matter and visual language demonstrates sophisticated understanding of how visual elements such as composition, line, texture, colour and tone can be used to communicate meaning demonstrates highly developed synthesis of ideas in print-making practice.
B	demonstrates an accomplished observation of landscape and the built environment that has informed the choice of subject matter and visual language demonstrates understanding of how visual elements such as composition, line, texture, colour and tone can be used to communicate meaning demonstrates well developed synthesis of ideas and techniques in artmaking practice.
C	demonstrates an observation of landscape and the built environment that has informed the choice of subject matter and visual language demonstrates some understanding of how some visual elements such as composition, line, texture, colour and tone can be used to communicate meaning demonstrates technical accomplishment in artmaking practice.
