Textile Item - Sam : Grade Commentary
Sam has designed and produced a textile item of basic quality, demonstrating limited creativity and simple techniques. The item has been managed to completion and is functional, demonstrating the selection of appropriate material for the end use. Sam has manipulated a small number of simple techniques, but has not completely mastered the drawstring casing and the use of straight stitching on a knit fabric. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade D standard.
Grade D
The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
