Other Work Samples for:

Cameron has designed and produced a textile item of basic quality, displaying some creativity. Limited proficiency is evident in the use of some techniques such as blanket stitch, beading and the application of the backing. The materials selected are appropriate for the end use as a wall hanging, but they have not been manipulated in an appropriate way. To improve the result, the strips of fabric would need to be attached securely or stitched down. Cameron has selected and used a limited range of equipment to construct the textile item. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade D standard.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
