Other Work Samples for:

Taylor has demonstrated a basic knowledge and understanding of the performance criteria of commercially produced slippers. The terms ‘functional’ and ‘aesthetic’ have been identified, but the performance criteria related to the slippers have not been explained. Taylor has identified the main components of the slippers and the materials used. There is some appropriate use of textile terminology but the performance criteria have not been clearly linked to the properties of the materials used, particularly for the aesthetic features. A more detailed assessment of the end use would have been helpful when explaining and justifying the materials used and the properties of the slipper components. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade D standard.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
