Indra has demonstrated extensive knowledge and understanding of the performance criteria of commercially produced slippers and has justified and analysed the functional and aesthetic considerations. The components of the slipper have been deconstructed and evaluated using specific and accurate textile terminology. The materials have been identified and their properties and appropriateness for the end use have been extensively justified. Indra has discriminated between the appropriateness of different materials for specific parts of the slipper, such as knitted materials to allow for stretching. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at Grade A standard.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
