Lee has demonstrated a limited level of competence in creating a composition in medieval or Renaissance style. There is a basic understanding of writing for three parts but no interplay between parts has been included. There are harmonic inconsistencies and the rhythmic material lacks a sense of direction. The simplistic rhythmic ideas do not reflect the lyrics. The use of score conventions is inconsistent. An attempt has been made to show phrasing but performing media, time signature, tempo and dynamic markings have not been indicated. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.
