Other Work Samples for:

Shane has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of histograms and polygons. Standard procedures have been used to construct the frequency histogram, cumulative frequency histogram and ogive, but there are some minor inaccuracies. The ogive has been used to correctly estimate the median, and the frequency has been calculated, but Shane has not correctly calculated the median or mean. Mathematical language has been used to describe the shape of the distribution but mean and median have not been discussed. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D4 standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
