Other Work Samples for:

Casey has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of trigonometric ratios. Only one worked example, which shows no evidence of finding an unknown angle or practical trigonometric application, has been used. Although there is a transcription error and Casey has made a rounding error, there is clear setting-out and correct use of diagrams in relation to bearings. There appears to be basic understanding of bearings as evidenced by examples of angles in the first quadrant only. The use of trigonometric terminology lacks clarity as shown by the lack of consistency in definitions of adjacent and opposite sides. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D3 standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade D
