Other Work Samples for:

Jamie has demonstrated a limited level of competence in solving consumer arithmetic problems. Distance has been divided by fare but there is no understanding of how this assists in making a decision. Canberra, where the rate was 2.57 km/$1, rather than Perth where the rate was 10.9 km/$1, has been chosen as the best deal. There is not enough specificity in the answer to Question 2, simply a statement of the obvious. There is no real understanding of rates, and the explanation and reasoning are inadequate. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D3 standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
