Chris has demonstrated a limited level of competence in applying problem-solving strategies to a real-life situation. The calculations for best value are correct but the explanation is confusing. Although the cost per kilometre has been found, there is a lack of mathematical working and justification. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 5.
