Other Work Samples for:

Ricky can find discounts but shows only incomplete understanding of the concept of successive discounts. An assumption has been made that the discounts can be added but the example has been well chosen and clearly expressed. An incorrect conclusion has been drawn, adding 10% for the second discount instead of 15%. Ricky has calculated 15% of $63 correctly but has not used it in the correct line of working. The mathematical reasoning is poor and the extension question has not been attempted. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C5 standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade C

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
