Jessie has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of congruence and similarity. Tests for congruency have been listed. There are several errors in identification but the reasons stated are generally correct. Jessie is aware that different sized triangles are similar but not congruent, but could demonstrate a stronger understanding of similarity. Some appropriate mathematical language, notation and diagrams have been used to reach and justify conclusions. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C5 standard at the end of Stage 5.
