Darcy has demonstrated a sound understanding of trigonometric ratios and an adequate level of competence in applying the rules for right angled triangles to find the value of an angle. The word problem lacks clarity, and calculations of sides and angles have not been provided for all three ratios. Most angles have been correctly rounded but bearings have not been included. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C5 standard at the end of Stage 5.
