Other Work Samples for:

Bailey has demonstrated a very high level of competence in analysing graphs. The arguments are concise and clear, showing that the gradient of a line in a distance/time graph is a measure of the speed. The answer to Question 2 includes an analysis of time and suggests a feasible context – a time machine. The comparisons of gradients are clear but there is some lack of precise terminology. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A9 standard at the end of Stage 5.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
