Bailey's is a cohesive, well-structured response including specific details, good use of connectives and a variety of sentence structures. There is evidence of the influence of English syntax, eg inappropriate use of warui and iro no pinku, as well as a mistake in the use of the past tense, some errors in katakana and misuse of the colours and particles. The sequencing is logical and the use of conjunctions effective. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
