Lou has demonstrated a very high level of competence in written communication. The letter is creative with logical and coherent development of ideas. Appropriate vocabulary and a variety of sentence structures have been used. Katakana and kanji have been used effectively, and there are only minor inaccuracies in the response. The ending of the letter is incomplete but the use of past tense is consistent. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.
