Dear Sir/mam,
I have recently watched your show on “genetically modified food” and I was extremely upset
and angry that Gm food will be coming to Australia.

One of the things that Andrea Ulbrack said, and I agree with, is that “Besides the Impact on
human health there is deep anxiety about is risk to biodiversity.”

Not only will Gm food effect us humans but it will kill the very land we live on. It will create a
supper weed and could effect land use as we know it.

There is no turning back all that we are doing is killing ourselves for example, we will estink
some major plants (less food for animals) animals will die without food (less food for Humans)
human get extinct without food and the world will be a mess because of man.

The point I am trying to make is that we don’t need Gm food, what is wrong with the plant and
animal life we survive on?

your faithfully

Letter 2:

AGAINST

Dear Sir/mam,
One word “Yes” Gm food should be used “Yes” we need it “Yes” it is a need not a want!
This will be one great leap to man and his kind, world hunger will be no more!
People will be able to afford food for their familys in country like Africa, India, ethopea and
other countrys that are less fortunate then we are.

If other farms are away from Gm farms then there are no worrys, this product will not effect
or polite the earth atmosphere it wont even hurt the surrounding forms as long there is good
distance.

But I suggest that their should be special farms in special areas for Gm food so there is nothing
to complain about.

The most that could happen is a weed and how hard is it to got rid of a weed? If carrots can
make Gm foods they can make a spray to get rid of the weed!

Yours fathfully
