Other Work Samples for:

Frances’s coherent and sustained monologue was presented confidently but did not challenge the audience’s expectations of the character portrayed. She was rehearsed and spoke fluently for the audience. She was able to generalise to present a particular view of the world, but did not engage with the ironies of, and alternatives to, that view. Her choice of character was appropriate for the audience but limited to personal experience and developed stereotypically – the teen angst of not being appreciated for her perspective. Frances’s reflection needed to assess her performance more insightfully, as it was quite superficial in parts. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 5.
