Darcy has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of design concepts and processes to develop a survey which has allowed for the target market's needs to be extracted. Open-ended questions have been developed to further understand the needs and wants of the clients. A variety of design considerations and factors have been documented in the survey questions eg environmentally friendly products, ergonomics, aesthetics, materials and costs. Darcy has ensured all collective data has been evaluated to justify the final solution. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
