Other Work Samples for:

Jordan has demonstrated an adequate awareness of the features of a recount. Past tense has been used and words indicating who, what, where and when have been included. There is good directionality and spacing between the words. Appropriate sentence structure has been used with capital letters and full stops to begin and end sentences. Sounds have been correctly sequenced and different strategies have been used to spell words. Letter formation is correct and a picture has been used to support the writing. Attempts at self-correction have been made. To develop further, Jordan could include more detail and descriptive language, and use capital letters appropriately throughout the text. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at the expected standard at the end of Kindergarten.
