Other Work Samples for:

Shannon has demonstrated an adequate level of competence in writing a simple description. Two features of the subject have been identified and adjectives have been used in a descriptive phrase. Appropriate vocabulary has been included but there is some confusion in the use of pronouns. Some understanding of the function of full stops and capital letters has been demonstrated. The spacing is incorrect but Shannon has used sight words and demonstrated some knowledge of phonemic awareness when spelling. Most letters have been correctly formed. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at the expected standard midway through Kindergarten.
