Ariel has demonstrated a very high level of competence in evaluating an existing storyboard and in planning and developing three storyboards. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the design process is evident as information has been gathered, analysed and used to develop creative design solutions. The ability to competently plan and develop work while justifying decisions throughout the process is apparent. An evaluation presenting both positive and negative aspects, and using analysis to inform and improve the design of the storyboards, has been included. The storyboards meet all the self-established criteria for success and have been clearly communicated, highlighting successful management of design processes and solutions. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
