Description of Activity
Students select and research a design specialisation and the work of a specific designer in this specialisation. They present a case study on their selected designer using a PowerPoint presentation of approximately eight slides.
Context
Students will have studied the design processes used by designers and the role of the designer. They have identified a range of design specialisations and understand the contribution designers make to the improvement of everyday life.

Criteria for assessing learning
Students will be assessed on their ability to:
- describe the selected design specialisation
- describe and explain the role a designer in the selected design specialisation
- present their case study using a PowerPoint presentation of about eight slides
