Work Samples - Grade E

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade E.

Activity: Investigating Plants (View Activity…)

Students plan and perform a controlled investigation to test a hypothesis.


Activity: Vertebrate Poster (View Activity…)

Students use a poster format to prepare and present a descriptive report on the observable features of a selected vertebrate.


Activity: Tabulating Solar System Data (View Activity…)

Students construct a table to summarise and sequence data contained in a solar system activity sheet.


Grade E

The student has an elementary knowledge and understanding in few areas of the content and has achieved very limited competence in some of the processes and skills.
