Other Work Samples for:

Jerry has produced a report that demonstrates a basic knowledge and understanding of the elements of experimental design. There has been an attempt to develop a hypothesis but it is not clear, and the aim has been written as a question. The method has been set out in steps but some aspects such as clearly identifying variables and a control have been omitted. The diagram has not been labelled, the data in the results table are not presented clearly and a graph has not been used to show trends or patterns in the results. The discussion has presented unsupported background research and has not identified improvements in the design. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
