Chris has demonstrated a high level of competence in planning and performing a first-hand investigation. The procedure has been clearly communicated, but the impact of rose enhancer on germination, rather than plant growth, has been investigated. Chris has demonstrated thorough knowledge of the control of variables, and repetition has been built into the design, allowing reliable data to be gathered. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
