Rania has understood the terms ‘diagonals’ and ‘bisect’ but is confused about the difference between a rectangle and a parallelogram or a square and a rhombus. Some accurate observations have been made but there is limited understanding of the properties of the full range of quadrilaterals. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 4.
