Cameron has demonstrated a basic knowledge of the content and a limited level of competence in investigating the properties of quadrilaterals. Four types of quadrilaterals have been identified and named but the diagonal properties of only two of these have been considered. Notation has been included on the diagonals to show equal lengths but no understanding of bisection has been demonstrated and no conclusion has been drawn. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 4.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
