Chris has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of some of the main features of the Nile and life along the river. A consistent perspective has been maintained but there is a lack of balance between the issues covered and a lack of detail overall. The report has been adequately structured, despite some repetition, and there is an understanding of cause and effect. There is some use of historical terms and concepts, and a conclusion has been drawn. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard.

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
