Work Samples - Grade D

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade D.

Activity: Attitudes to technological change: communicating the survey results (View Activity…)

Students use a class survey to collate data, construct graphs, interpret data and communicate their findings.


Activity: Investigating a global organisation (View Activity…)

Students research a global organisation to answer focus questions and produce a poster or multimedia presentation.


Activity: Investigating the local environment (View Activity…)

Students use geographical tools to identify, measure and record features of their local environment.


Activity: World Heritage sites (View Activity…)

Students write a report about World Heritage listing and the Sydney Opera House.


Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
