Life writing - Bobby : Grade Commentary
Bobby has demonstrated a limited level of competence in composing and evaluating a personal reflection. The analysis is simple and brief. There is some personal engagement with the text and a basic understanding of the purpose of life writing is apparent. Two techniques have been identified but textual support has not been provided. A basic understanding of some language features and structure has been demonstrated but paragraphs need to be further developed. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 4.

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
